Pitch Application Forms

APPLICATIONS FOR PITCHES

King Harold Day welcomes applications for pitches from Craft workers and demonstrators, subject to the suitability of the craft and space being available.

We do not have marquees as we believe they are unsuitable for a medieval event. We encourage traders/exhibitors etc to bring small tents, and are quite happy to accept gazebos.

We will have the use of the large hall in the Abbey Church Centre building for those who cannot bring tents/gazebos, but, because of space, the number of pitches in the Church Centre will be limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Consequently, the price for an outside pitch will be £25, with traders bringing their own tents, tables and chairs. The price for a pitch in the Church Centre will be £30, but again we must emphasize that there are a limited number. If any pitches are booked after 30th September a late booking fee of an extra £10 may be levied at the discretion of the organizers.

SPECIAL EARLY BIRD OFFER         Pitch fees will be reduced to £20 for outside or £25 for inside subject to full payment being made by 31st May 2015.

We have to insist on all stallholders having public liability insurance cover, and providing us with a copy of their risk assessment. We can provide a simple form of risk assessment for anyone who requires it. Anyone selling food must also provide us with a copy of their Hygiene Certificate.

Download the application form, and send it to us at the address shown as soon as possible.
